Firstly, a huge apology to those waiting on this result, and thank you to everyone for reminding us to make the announcement! It’s an oversight on our behalf due to the shift from physical magazines, distribution, live streams and generally trying to survive the shit storm that is hopefully almost over.

Cast your mind back to December 2020 when we announced our favourite albums of the year, we then asked you to vote on your favourites so we have a comparative result.

As we know the small team behind Wordplay have our opinion but it’s you guys, the public readers and listeners who should have the final say! We had well over 1000 votes come in and these were mostly spread pretty evenly across the selection, but one albums votes kept growing and eventually ran away with it.
