Northern Grime pioneer, Chiedu Oraka drops his next single, ‘Ave Life’ ahead of his 7-track EP, due this summer.

Known for his raw, unrestrained lyrical prowess, Yorkshire native, Chiedu’s ‘Ave Life’ tells a powerful homage to his council-estate upbringing. Speaking of pride and endurance, a conscious story-telling Chiedu speaks about his childhood and a declaration to be proud of the circumstances in which you were born.

Landing ahead of his forthcoming 7-track EP of the same name this summer, ‘Ave Life’ sees Chiedu’s softer approach, settling on a mellow, laid-back feel in both it’s production and delivery, giving nods to a west coast influence. The accompanying music video reflects the Hull rapper’s childhood narrative, giving viewers a slice of his own world.
