DJ Polo - Look Back To Move Forward (EP)

Bristol-based DJ Polo has been at the forefront of underground UK club culture since his debut EP on Roska’s Kicks & Snares label. He has since released on a plethora of the UK’s most cutting edge labels including Hyperdub & Livity Sound - whilst championing his sound on London’s Rinse.FM and Bristol’s SWU.FM, two of the most influential radio stations in the UK right now.

Polo returns to Club Djembe with a 5 track EP showcasing the unique strain of drum-focused dance music his name has become synonymous with. Inspired by the likes of Funky House, Gqom, Afrobeats & Amapiano, whilst paying homage to earlier influences of Dubstep and Grime, DJ Polo encapsulates elements from the sounds that make him who he is today on ‘Look Back to Move Forward’.
