Aida Lae - Heartbroke (Official Video)
Swedish artist Aida Lae reveals the video for her latest single ‘Heartbroke’, directed by Dom Fleming (Ella Eyre, Suspect OTB). The R&B charged track follows Aida’s soulful feature on ‘Good Hearts’ in Ghetts’ chart topping album ‘Conflict of Interest’.
The 90s-tinged summer anthem is paired with vibrant visuals which sees Aida spinning around in nostalgic style with the same attitude and conviction in her lyrics. Her melodic with smooth and airy vocals draw you in.
Speaking about the track, Aida writes
”I had the pleasure of collaborating with the amazing Tayla Parx on ‘Heartbroke’. She’s such an amazing songwriter/artist, and to be able to have her input on this song was so precious.
The song is a testament to the stages of vulnerability that the heart experiences post break-up, and how you have to keep moving forward so time can do its thing and mend a broken heart. Time is of the essence and I don’t want to waste it being sad, I want to spend time looking toward the future.”
Co-written in LA with pop-hit maker Tayla Parx (Little Mix - Sweet Melody, Khalid, Megan Thee Stallion), the sweet-toned and sunlit ‘Heartbroke’ yields a bittersweet love song about post break-up angst, and the trials of a new relationship.
