It’s mid-tempo in all it’s synth goodness, a minimalist track with melancholy undertones. A delicious blend of alt-soul and R&B with the overlay of an emotional gritty baritone.

“Dead Inside is me in conversation with myself. It’s about feeling empty and depressed and frustrated with my life and wanting to give up, but at the same time being determined to carry on working hard and succeed in all I want to do. It’s about my fight for happiness and success, while battling my own mind and demons in the process. I’ll give it all to you, even if it’s raining outside. I’ll give it all to you, even if I’m dead inside”.
