Houston-based singer-songwriter Peyton shares her new single, “Don’t U Wanna Fly '', from her upcoming debut album PSA dropping on July 23 on Stones Throw. The track was produced by Biako, Insightful, David Phelps and Vicky Farewell. “Don’t U Wanna Fly” embraces a wide-eyed youthful curiosity and gives a more intimate understanding of Peyton’s fearless approach to artistic expression.

“When we were young, we were so impressionable, amazed by the small joys in life, and eager to be creative and imaginative. As we get older, that feeling dims as we get distracted by our daily lives. ‘Don’t U Wanna Fly’ is a reminder to hold on to that feeling and remember it is still inside." As portrayed in the music video for “Don’t U Wanna Fly” directed by Yen, music is in Peyton’s DNA. She started playing violin at the age of 5 and singing in her church gospel further aided her musical development, leading Peyton to see music as a form of comfort and expression from a young age.
