Joya Mooi - Remember (Official Video)

Dutch-South African singer-songwriter Joya Mooi has returned with brand new single “Remember”, accompanied by a stunning music video directed by Bob Sizoo and Najim Jansen.

Blending soul and alternative R&B, Joya Mooi is one of modern soul's most exciting artists and “Remember” follows her well-received EP release named “Blossom Carefully” which dropped last year. This latest cut retains Joya’s sophisticated style and enchanting vocals, and sees her reflect on the words of wisdom shared decades before us. But despite Joya finding inspiration from the past, “Remember” feels distinctly forward-thinking with its hazy, electronic-inspired soundscape provided by her frequent collaborators Sim Fane and SIROJ.

Its supporting video reinforces the tracks pensive feel and follows Joya in a peaceful coastal setting within Rotterdam’s Maasvlakte, before her body is duplicated as she explores its geometric installation.
