For the last five years New York based producer Bell Curve has marked an expansive output as a DJ, promoter, producer and co-head at label Worst Behavior Recs with fellow New York mainstay Anna Morgan. Bell Curve has long channelled her passion for the healing, communal power of dance into previous releases & remixes, earning nods from DJ Mag, Mixmag, Resident Advisor & Red Bull among others.

Now she’s back with her debut album on Worst Behavior Recs, blending all manners of bass-centric production styles. ‘Unstable Orbit’ takes us on an otherworldly sonic journey, exploring her musical influences and growth as a producer.

The release’s 12 tracks touch on disparate ends of the genre and BPM continuum, evading firm categorisation but refracting inspirations from Footwork & Jungle & Grime to Dancehall, Techno & IDM. ‘Unstable Orbit’ represents Bell Curve’s vision of contemporary club music, documenting her journey as an artist and her sound that has evolved along the way.
