Up and coming artist murloe is carving out her own space within a unique genre being described as ‘wonky’ pop. A singer and songwriter, she tackles the nuances of life and relationships through her music. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of artists and sounds, including Jordan Rakei, Dua Lipa and Disclosure, murloe has created a sound that is fresh and ready for the new world.

Already a BBC Introducing (The South) favourite, murloe’s first 2 singles have received continued support and airplay. She released debut single Polarised in summer 2020, embodying the conflicting experience of a toxic relationship that can feel simultaneously amazing and soul destroying. With an ambiguous subject, the track becomes ever more relatable, it could be a lover, or it could be a friend. Follow up single Crazy Eyes is destined to be a dance floor hit with its dancehall beat and anthemic lyrics.

Hot on the heels of her debut releases, new single Waste Away The Day With Me is not a traditional love song. It sees murloe finding an authentic and realistic take of what it’s like to be close to somebody in today’s world, both physically and emotionally. A tonic to what she describes as an “obsessive I’m in love with you please don’t leave me” approach, Waste Away The Day With Me explores the sentiment of just enjoying being around somebody, not needing to do anything in particular but seeing what happens.
