Terra Incognita is an album inspired by change, progression and the unknown. This project blends together organic textures, pumping drums, analog synths and dripping samples; T.I. acts as LF’s creative diary of the pandemic.

The album’s sonic landscape clearly represents Lightfoot as an artist while also paying homage to his inspirations such as Teebs, Foisey., Flying Lotus, and many others in the experimental beat scene. Much like any journey, we cycle through old and new, equipped with Ableton, Teenage Engineering’s OP-1, and Roland’s SP-404, this is reflected not only in the music but also in Lightfoot’s process of creating it.
