Hailing from North West London is singer-songwriter Nakira with her latest single ‘Rebel’. The track has fusion of sounds a concoction of R&B vocals with dancehall elements. Sonically different from her slow-jam ‘Don’t’ kicking things up a gear showing her versatility.

Speaking about the track Nakira says ‘it represents that we all have a little rebel in us and we’re willing to discover that once in a while, especially to a beat that will have you jammin the night a way. This song gives vibrancy, joy, sexiness and has all the reasons to get lost in the music when you hear it, on some speakers of course ha!’

Nakira has been taken her singing career seriously since 2017, going on a UK/EU tour as a backing vocalist for the artist Celeste. Now it’s her time to shine, follow her own path and dreams. Releasing her first single in 2018, performing and promoting herself at as many gigs and radio shows. As independent artist know this feeling well and I am sure they can relate.
