Wiki + NAH - Telephonebooth (EP)

Following a Bandcamp-only release last month, Wiki & NAH’s joint album Telephonebooth is now widely available on all streaming services including Spotify and Apple.

The record is a 22-minute blast of experimental rap music that finds New York rapper Wiki and Philadelphia-born, Antwerp-based producer NAH breaking new ground. A fully focussed Wiki delivers tales of self-doubt, friendship, hangovers and more over NAH’s distorted, industrial tracks.

To mark the wider release of the record, the duo have also dropped a video for Sh*t Blood shot in a snow-covered New York earlier this year.

Having first met in 2014 when NAH opened for Ratking (Wiki’s previous group), the pair would eventually work together in 2019 when NAH was called upon to add extra production on Wiki’s second solo album, OOFIE. Then, in March 2020, NAH began crafting beats made specifically for Wiki’s distinctive voice. A year later - and after countless phone calls between New York and Antwerp - the resuling album Telephonebooth is an authentic take on city life during strange times.
