Snoh Aalegra releases new album ‘Temporary Highs in The Violet Skies’ featuring the highly acclaimed artists Tyler, The Creator and James Fauntleroy. The 15 track album includes ‘LOST YOU’ released in June, produced by No I.D with co-production by Maneesh, and an accompanying music video.
‘Temporary Highs in The Violet Skies’ follows Aalegra’s critically acclaimed sophomore album ‘Ugh, Those Feels Again’. The album garnered incredible praise from across all important music publications leading her to win Best new artist at the 2020 Soul Train Awards and Best New R&B Artist at the iHeartRadio Music Awards serving as a moment to propel the artist into stardom.
The success of Aalegra’s previous album and it’s R&B chart-topping singles ‘I Want You Around’ and ‘Whoa’ led to two headline tours that sold out within minutes of the tickets going on sale. Not long after, Snoh Aalegra made an appearance on the highly coveted NPR Tiny Desk giving a breathtaking performance. On top of this, Music icon Pharrell took great interest in Aalegra’s work, unveiling a remix of ‘Whoa’ which was proclaimed as the “perfect love song” by several key music journalists across platforms such as the FADER, Hypebeast and Complex.
