What a banger! British-Colombian singer-songwriter and former girl band member of Griff, Nicole Silva has released her debut single ‘Control’.

The track is a unique blend of ‘00s R&B and Latin trap, which she is trying to bring to the UK music market. She tries to incorporate multilingual lyrics into her music and ‘Control’ has lyrics in Spanish and English. The track has gone viral on Tiktok and there has been a dance created for 'Control' choreographed and posted by Mexican influencers Rosy and Mia Salinas (15 million followers combined).

Having supported Jessie J, JLS and Union J at the Madejski Stadium in front of 25,000 people, Nicole Silva spent her teenage years developing as an artist and discovering her sound. In 2014, the she also managed to secure herself a modelling contract at a renowned London agency.

From 2015 to 2019, Nicole Silva continued to perform, write music, collaborate with artists and model for major brands. The singer was also selected as the official face of London Fashion Week in 2019, featured in Vogue China and photographed by top photographers in France, Italy, Colombia and the UK, all whilst completing a degree at the University of Oxford.

Nicole Silva has collaborated with award-winning producers such as ADP (Dua Lipa, Chris Brown, James Arthur), Levi Lennox (Emeli Sande, Sia, Raye), Hank Hughes (Beyoncé, Sam Smith, Zayn Malik) and Dukus (Tory Lanez, Wiz Khalifa, Craig David).
