Kiddus - Mashallah (Official Video)

Dedicated to those still with us, 'Mashallah' is a song about losing loved ones and navigating relationships; written, produced and performed by Kiddus. The video is a re-enactment of a series of vivid dreams directed and edited by Kiddus and filmed by his friends. Concluding Kiddus’ Debut Solo Project, 'Mashallah' will feature on ’Snake Girl: Disk 2’ which is set for release next month.

Following his year-long mentorship on Gilles Peterson backed Future Bubblers programme Kiddus has continued to experiment with his soundscape. Raised in a Rastafarian household Kiddus uses his Caribbean, Indian, Filipino and Welsh heritage to influence his musical stylings. Unafraid to experiment he often fuses Soul, Punk, Afrobeats, Indie-Pop and Drill to create charming lo-fi soundscapes taking great pleasure in not pinning one specific genre to his sound.
