Kianja said “If the past two years have taught me anything, it’s that I need to appreciate the positive things in my life and enjoy those blessings. I wrote this song about showing gratitude for the love in my life. Production wise I wanted to merge some of the music that I love to listen to, while giving it a fresh twist. My main musical influences on this song are Sade- a massive inspiration for me, Tania Maria (Brazilian Jazz), Marc Anthony, Héctor Lavoe (Salsa) and Dancehall I grew up hearing – Wayne Wonder, Serani.”
