South London drill talent Kwengface has unveiled his long-awaited debut mixtape Young Peckham Boy: Tha Come Up, out 13th August.

A twelve-track release, Young Peckham Boy: Tha Come Up is characterised by Kweng’s trademark cold drill sound and features collaborations with an array of fellow scene warriors. First up is his most recent single ‘Bruck It’, a cross-city collaboration with ICB crew member Q2T, with the pair trading hard-hitting bars amidst a similarly heavy production.

Further singles come in the form of July’s ‘Chef’, a track that sees Kweng in a typically buoyant mood as he delivers quickfire bars and clever wordplay alluding to the uncompromising lifestyle that he leads, and June’s ‘Tetley’, which pairs a dramatic, suspense-heightening production with his effortless, high-energy flow. The tracks have racked up 1.5 million combined Spotify streams.
