London-based songwriter and rapper James Lamb steps out for the first time as a solo artist with his new single ‘These Old Feelings’.

Opening up with jazzy, lo-fi piano chords and wistful melodies, ‘These Old Feelings’ is the perfect introduction to who James is as an artist. With his mellow raps that give off an improvised feel, he displays confidence and lyrical prowess that comes from performing with numerous bands since the age of thirteen.

Discussing the track, James explains “I wanted to create something chilled yet soulful and express my feelings of love and everything attached to it. It’s about not letting past relationships get in the way of a new one and how time heals everything.”

As well as working on solo material, James has spent years collaborating with other artists. In 2018 he released ‘3 Words’ with Dutch artist AKA Block that is currently on over 2 million streams on Spotify and featured in the Daniel Radcliffe film ‘Guns Akimbo’. He is also part of the duo 11 Roses with renowned songwriter Richard Cracker who produced ‘These Old Feelings’.
