Since stepping out front and centre with his personal independent project, Afghan-Dutch artist, writer and producer Ferdous has been finding fans in the likes of Dummy, i-D and Spotify. Now, he returns with a teaser from his forthcoming EP, the gooey R&B single "Tolerate". Crafting a soundscape built upon woozy, mellow R&B sonics, the single weaves through its myriad of minimalistic sounds with transcendence.

Layering euphonious sounds with intricacy, "Tolerate" explores the desire to live in the present. Wrapped in a blanket of sultry but meditative R&B beats, the track delves into the depths of laid-back melodies and returns with a combination of glimmering sonics. Telling us about the single, Ferdous says: "Tolerate is about having a desperate longing for living in the moment, and trying to forget that someday you might lose the things that you cherish. It’s about trying to find worth and meaning in this digital wasteland we’ve been living in for the past decade."
