Home Yoga - FYJ (Single)

Home Yoga is London based spoken word artist Simeon Farrar and producer Hugo Slime. Formed during lockdown Farrar would send voice memo poems to long time friend and beat maker Hugo Slime who would interpret them how he saw fit.

Over the weeks and months a huge body of work was produced with subject matter tackling fierce political commentary, gentle love ditties and general musings on the current state of hip hop, all set to a wide range of musical genres form boom bap to drum and bass.

FYJ is the first official release from Home Yoga. FYJ (Fuck You Johnson) was born out of an acute frustration with being locked in at home and having to watch a disaster play out live in the UK, perpetrated by a government and leader who’s incompetence has led to the unnecessary deaths of hundreds of people. It is a dedication to all those who have sacrificed so much, who have lost so much and who have been shown so little from the people who are charged with protecting them.

FYJ is a dedication to all the NHS and care staff who lost their lives saving ours.
