Despite only releasing his debut single in early 2020, NSG affiliate and collaborator, Wax, has swiftly built a name for himself on London’s flourishing Rap scene. Part of the 1Up collective alongside Moko and Tay Jordan, Wax’s distinctively laconic delivery, obvious charisma and witty approach to UK Rap has caught the attention of fans and tastemakers alike over the last year running up 250k streams on Spotify alone with singles such as ‘Numbers’, ‘Jurgen Klopp’ and ‘Trading Places’.

Underdogs is another example of Wax’s versatility, floats over a sunny Baile-Funk beat co-produced by himself and Srigala. With some effortlessly catchy hooks, Wax flexes in his own uniquely laid-back manner, paired with some slick visuals to match - you’d be foolish to sleep on Wax.
