Hailing from South London is singer and songwriter ELI announcing the release of her newest single ‘Revelation’. This track is dark soul to the core weirdly wonderful and we love it! Oozing with gritty reversed guitar riffs, punchy bass melodies and grounding breakbeats, the track taps into the darker facets of ELI’s sound, showcasing the versatility of the emerging artist.

About the track ELI says “I wanted to be completely raw with this track and so I wrote about how I saw myself in my ideal form; strong, powerful and unwavering. I’ve been inspired by so many women and more-so by superheroes, Catwoman was my main influence when it came to conceptualising the visuals. I’m excited for everyone to see an edgier side to me and to see my evolution and growth as an artist.”

‘Revelation’ marks ELI’s second official release since the dynamic ‘Lover’. Having been featured by Fred Perry Subculture, All Things Go charting at number 7 on the Hypeline Chart, Future Bubblers New Music Friday, Reprezent Radio, PromoNews Video of the Month, Girls In Film and most recently being shortlisted as a finalist in the Cross The Tracks Festival Emerging Artists Competition. ELI is already stirring a buzz in the underground scene and continues to push the boundaries as an alternative black female independent artist. After being awarded the Help Musicians - Do It Differently Fund ELI is set to produce and release her debut EP in the spring of next year.
