‘Lockdown’ is the latest offering from Glasgow based emcee, Red King. Originally hailing from Dundee, this track demonstrates his versatility as he switches from his usual conscious and grimey style into a more UK Garage inspired, summer anthem. The track’s message is clear, simple and relatable as he explains his relief of the long-awaited, re-opening of the clubs.

‘Lockdown’ was produced by KABU, a Hungarian beatmaker with a flare for UK Drill and Garage, and mix and mastered by Glasgow’s own Rapture 4D. 

As with his previous two releases ‘Bare My Teeth’ and ‘I Remember’ , Red King’s video for Lockdown, was released via Scottish Hip-Hop platform, UP2STNDRD. Filmed by long time collaborator James Calderwood of JCPhotovideo, ‘Lockdown’ tells the very visual story of a typical Glasgow sesh.
