Mr. Käfer + Phlocalyst - Memories (Single)

Lo-Fi heavyweights Mr. Käfer & Phlocalyst are restructuring the metaphysics of a jazz thing (to quote Gang Starr). “Memories” is the second single from their album Now / Again on Melting Pot Music. The smooth beat is wrapped in warm melodic layers, led by Phlocalyst's distinctive horn. Flemish producer Phlocalyst lives in Munich where he plays in a classical orchestra. Mr. Käfer was born in Salzburg, Austria with family ties in Algeria. He lives in Cologne where he fuses boom-bap & jazz with North-African music. The artwork comes from Cologne-based artist Giza One, who was also responsible for the artwork of Mr. Käfer's neo-soul single "What To Do" with South African singer adaolisa.
