Deema - RAINBOW (EP)

20-year-old, South-East London rapper, Deema shares a new EP today titled Rainbow. Produced by a combination of collaborators including Grammy-nominee Venna (renowned for his work with everyone from Wizkid to Burna Boy), as well as long-term comrade Dom Valentino who produced his 2020 EP CHEW YOUR FOOD. Rainbow is a 4-track project that showcases Deema’s more vulnerable side, effortlessly rapping about his hopes and fears on ‘Mama, Don’t Judge”, whilst prioritising his happiness on bouncy title track ‘Rainbow’, and keeping it real on the shuffling, piano led ‘Can I’. He perfectly merges the worlds of grime, UK rap and 90’s hip hop into a concise, meaningful body of work that feels distinctively British, excitingly fresh and timeless all at the same time.

He also releases a new video for the uplifting and empowering ‘I Wish I Had To’. The track helmed by a hypnotic Venna beat was treated to a dazzling visual accompaniment directed by LAUZZA, which features members of dance group We Aint’' Regular, who have appeared in videos for Stormzy and AJ Tracey. The video sees Deema and Dom Valetino hop into a vintage Mercedes and watch the day go by in a haze as they pass through animated London scenes.
