Kwaku Asante - Blue Solstice: Vol 1 (EP)

Emerging singer/songwriter Kwaku Asante drops his three-track EP, ‘Blue Solstice: Vol 1’, featuring new single ‘Feel Something’ alongside unheard tracks ‘Tightrope’ and ‘Northern Lights’. The project marks a shift sonically and creatively for Kwaku who deliberately wanted to switch things up, offering a more uptempo and funky project. Working with multi-instrumentalist Dan Holloway across both unreleased tracks, ‘Tightrope’ tells a playful story about a love interest that keeps you on your toes whilst ‘Northern Lights’ is about falling head over heels.

Growing up, Kwaku has fond memories of his younger years, his love for music was sparked both at church and at home in a house filled with Gospel and Jazz. Playing the piano and singing in the choir from a young age, this progressed into recording demos whilst at university and exploring his artistic talents. His formative years taught him about discipline and cultivated his love for academia and sports, which both played a role in shaping him into the man he is today.
