San Diego based creative thomTide took on an epic project this past year - releasing a new song every two weeks for 12 months; all of them in tune with the seasons. The final chapter in this cyclical, sonic drama is the extraordinary mySakura.

Singing electric guitar chords overlayed by haunting and melodic vocals build around thought provoking lyrics that transport us into the mind of thomTide and his wondrous view of the seasons and how they connect with each other.

thomTide shares on the release: "If I'm not mistaken, in Japanese culture the Sakura represents the ephemerality of life, and it teaches us to be present and live it to the fullest. mySakura is a song about a person who embodies that spirit and inspires me to do the same. I was talking about not just making the most of life itself but also things like relationships that come and go while we are still alive. I thought that it was an appropriate way to connect back to the Fall in a cyclical way.”
