A triumphant new EP propels Bemz to the forefront of Scotland’s burgeoning hip-hop scene 

Scottish rapper Bemz has announced the release of his latest seven-track EP titled M4. The forthcoming release is testament to the strength of the country’s rap scene with names like Aberdeen’s Chef, Brandon Cutkelvin and Paisley’s Washington, bolstering what is a formidable return for Bemz. 

Born in Nigeria, Bemz is now based in Glasgow - but calls Ayrshire, where he grew up, home. Since writing music as a teenager, his lyrics have been rooted in raw honesty and self exploration, and his forthcoming release is no different. Already a figurehead for Scottish hip-hop, Bemz has garnered a wealth of support including an exclusive live session with BBC Scotland as part of their TUNE X BBC Introducing collaboration series. To celebrate the release of M4, Bemz will be playing a sold out headline show on 23rd September at SWG3’s Poetry Club in Glasgow alongside some of Glasgow’s most exciting emerging rap talent.
