Whilst the EP’s title track ‘Prim & Propa’ (Annie Mac’s Hottest Record In The World, as well as Radio 1’s Future Artist for August) was a golden-centred riot in the streets, the Watford-hailing artists new track is an ode to the late-night vulnerabilities that keep you restless in the night. Her voice - always unmistakably Connie - swoons with the weighted, downtempo guitar grooves that play over a twinkling sound that reminds you of the wind-up music box in your childhood bedroom. “Some things in life are worth feeling / I wanna see if this all has meaning”, she sings, in a moment of true catharsis.
