anaiis ft: Chronixx - cry in your sleep (Single)

Ahead of her long-awaited debut album ‘this is no longer a dream’, anaiis shares her fourth track ‘cry in your sleep’ featuring the legendary Chronixx. The single is accompanied by the animated video created by Kimmortal.

‘cry in your sleep’ is a lush experimental lullaby with revered artist Chronixx, sermoning on self-understanding, whilst anaiis chants a self-soothing hymn affirming her arrival: “this is no longer a dream— better recognize, you’re here”.  The song is about reckoning with a newfound reality—shifting away from self deprecation into a place of self appreciation—and features a dreamy soundscape. “I connected with Chronixx in LA just before the pandemic and we immediately felt a profound kinship with each other,” the artist muses. “He heard this song I was working on and I was keen to collaborate with him on this specific one because it’s so particular and wonky. It’s the most affirming song on the record, and it felt like quite a unique place for our two artistries to meet.” The track is accompanied by the official video, animated by Kimmortal.
