North London born British/Bengali producer Surya Sen kicks off 2022 with a bang as he presents his debut video for recent single “So I Just”, part of the latest double A-side release on the coveted Skint Records. Stepping in front of the camera for the very first time, Sen personifies the bouncy, tongue-in-cheek attitude his music is quickly becoming revered for.
 
Undeniably invoking the spirit of 90’s rave culture, the fast-paced editing and hazy close-ups tell a carefree visual story of hedonism, as the smooth Chicago-inspired tones flow freely underneath. From the scramble of late night antics in the club to early morning cityscape views, the video directed by Eve Mahoney (Miraa May/Raye, Ghetts, Dystopia) aptly prescribes viewers with a heavy dose of nostalgia and comradery as we follow Surya Sen and his troop on their radiant escapade through the urban jungle.
