Fast rising Birmingham songstress Ameenah is back and ready to follow on from an impressive 2021. Over the course of the year we’ve seen the gifted vocalist deliver a string of singles including ‘Sunrise’, her most recent track ‘Envy’ and the BBC 1Xtra supported single ‘Smoke’.

Ameenah is now ready to step into 2022 with an even stronger passion and drive to make her mark as one of the West Midland’s most exciting vocalists, and what better way to do so than by delivering a brand new single. This one is entitled ‘Ways’ and arrives as a feel good track has been written and performed by Ameenah while Sippy Blu steps in with an expert production. The infectious new anthem see’s the duo create a Garage infused track which has been laced with a laidback, soothing vocal which gives it all the qualities to get played at events and on radio stations up and down the country.

Speaking on the new single Ameenah says: “The way I created this song was almost as if it's a diary entry or internal dialogue. The song is about how pride can sometimes get the best of us. Like most of us, I want a peaceful existence, but the ways of the world don't always permit that. This is me saying try not to get caught up, stay in your own lane, focus on what you're doing, don't watch anyone else, but to remember that we're only human so it will happen from time to time. It also touches on freedoms; freedom of speech in this new era of online censorship, freedom to live life how you want and to be free of other's interference and judgement.”
