House of EL - BOOK OF EL (Mixtape)

Northampton based artist House of EL (aka Kieron McIntosh) presents his highly anticipated mixtape ‘BOOK OF EL’.

Following the success of his 2021 singles, ‘Something Special’ and ‘Push On’, which together twisted the ears of Colors, Clash, Wonderland Magazine, BBC Radio 1, House of EL enlists the support of Laura Mvula, Jay Prince, Tom Ford, Karma Kid and many more, to create an addictively versatile body of work in ‘BOOK OF EL’ a project which sets the bar high for House of EL this coming 2022.

Littered with infectious drum rhythms and exceptional musicianship, ‘BOOK OF EL’ effortlessly fuses elements of jazz, soul, hip-hop and pop creating a signature sound and a backbone for House of EL’s intimate tales of self-doubt, hope, race and identity.

In his own words, House of EL explains; "‘BOOK OF EL’ mixtape is a collection of songs that were always supposed to sit together, it’s really talking about what it means to be a human... I really always wanted to create a body of work with these songs - no specific genre but hopefully we make you feel something, sing along of course and share in our collective humanity”.
