XVI Records is delighted to present brand new signee Kai Meara with his forthcoming EP ‘Morii’. Following the release of albums ‘Splurge’ and ‘Rheumatic’ and holding down a residency on Peckham’s Balamii Radio, the London-based artist continues to dent the scene with his staple refined production. A plethora of stimulating tones, ‘Morii’ combines vibrant soundscapes into a hazy twilight, in which Kai Meara dwells.

The journey begins with his haunting track ‘Duel’, utilising a rich sonic palette alongside a dusty selection of textures. The atmosphere created seals the curiosity of listeners, who are later greeted by ethereal pad strokes in ‘Let Up’. Demonstrating the outer realms of his production, mystic number ‘Swarm’, is an intricate performance of chimes dancing alongside earthy vocals. After tapping into heavenly sound choices, with ‘Motive Unknown’, an absorbing beat arrangement embellished by catchy motifs. ‘Dancing Stone’ follows, entrancing listeners and immersing them in his shimmering world.
