East Londoner Murkage Dave returns following the release of his sophomore album with new single, ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’. Produced by Star Slinger, ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ builds on the conversation Dave began with ‘The City Needs A Hero’ a widely-celebrated album that covered themes of; inner-city living, sadness, love, escape, masculinity, race, identity and so much more. Confronting realities and tackling resentment on ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ Dave encourages the listener (and perhaps himself) to keep their head on their shoulders knowing things are never as bad as they seem. Later this month he sets off on his ‘The City Needs A Hero’ UK tour, beginning in Bristol on 21st October and ending in London Islington Assembly hall on 31st October, it will be a series of shows not to be missed.
