Eda Eren explores soulful UK Garage on “I Got You”.

UK-Based soulful songwriter Eda Eren returns with some of her most unique and groove-rich work to date. On the new single “I Got You” we hear Eda at her best, with sultry vocals over an authentic two-step groove.

New single “I Got You” touches on another classic UK sound: UK garage. This deep soul stepper calls to mind a middle eastern Jorja Smith but with much more to prove, and has been mixed by top mix engineer Nathan Boddy. Speaking on the new single Eda states:

“I wrote this years ago at an after party thinking about a guy I really fancied”. She continues, You just can’t get your mind off of him and all you want to do is leave your friends and see him. It’s about being a couple but just not being able to get him off your mind. I say this is almost like pleading or begging for affection by someone with high walls.
