Croydon rapper SwitchOTR has joined forces with multi-platinum icon John Newman on new single ‘Gone’ out 14th October. Sampling the Newman classic ‘Love Me Again', ‘Gone’ sees SwitchOTR turn the track into an infectious drill cut - while losing none of the tenderness of the original.

This comes off the back of two nominations at this month’s prestigious GRM Daily Rated Awards - 'Breakthrough Act' and 'Track Of The Year' for ‘Coming For You’.

SwitchOTR is a new breed of melodic drill artists, rapidly crossing UK Drill over to mainstream audiences. He is widely known for his now legendary hit single 'Coming For You' which first blew up on TikTok and then became a Top 5 hit in the official UK Singles charts, amassing a whopping 115 million streams so far (nearly 30M on YouTube alone). An equally revered remix featuring Loski, Bandokay and Izzpot followed.

‘Gone’ follows his other hit single ‘Clearest Of Signs’ which has amassed over 100 million streams and counting, and ‘Reggae & Calypso’, his smash collaboration with the likes of Russ and Buni that has racked up 15 million YouTube streams and counting after being premiered by GRM Daily.
