Rising from Reading, yet resonating across the breadth and width of the UK, 22-year-old rapper SONGER releases his single ‘Love is a Lottery’ with justified confidence, this October 6th.

The successes of SONGER that lay the foundations for this release are unquestionably impressive. The past twelve months have seen this artist organically stream over 30 million on his 2021 mixtape, ‘The Sunrise Project’, sell out his debut tour in under 2 hours - with an additional Omeara, London date added due to phenomenal demand, and collaborate with Bradford’s most exciting MC trio Bad Boy Chiller Crew.

Achievements aside, SONGER’s innate musical ability is what set him apart from the beginning. Approaching rap with sophisticated penmanship and conscious lyricism, SONGER creates his own brand of ‘wordsmith’, void of stereotypical drugs, sex, money related topics often found within the genre. Further evidencing this in ‘Love is a Lottery’, SONGER displays vulnerability as he invites us into his personal recount of love.

Expanding on this, SONGER explains; “Love is a lottery is about how complicated love can be but how I feel I’ve won the jackpot when it comes to relationships, with one girl in mind. It’s meant to be a playful and humorous description of how my relationship came about and how easy it is to get wrong.”
