Antigoni - Long Way Home (Single)

London based Antigoni has shared her latest single ‘Long Way Home’, out Friday 11th November.

Propelled by a slick beat and infectious Greek energy, ‘Long Way Home’ is a smooth, seductive track delivered with the aura of an artist destined for big things. Antigoni’s soaring vocals take centre stage as she faces hard truths and recognising her next steps.

Commenting on the track Antigoni said, “I can’t tell you how much this song means to me. I was probably emotionally in the hardest place I’ve ever been when I wrote it and this song was such a defining moment for me both personally & musically.” Continuing Antigoni says, “we (with her producer Cez) created this song from feelings in my subconscious, that I really wasn’t ready to accept and writing it actually told me how I was feeling. Those late night Drake & driving moments. When you’re not ready to leave the bubble of your car/emotions.”

‘Long Way Home’ is also the first song in which Antigoni wrote with a bouzouki instrument, she says she is ‘eternally grateful for these moments & songs that are like therapy to create. I really hope you love it as much as I do and it means something to you too.’

The accompanying music video will be directed by the legendary Gabriella Kinglsey, who also worked with Antigoni on her ‘You Can Have Him’ video. Gabirella has worked with every tastemaker in the game, including Ed Sheeran, Aitch, ArrDee, Eugy and many others. It follows ‘Never Gonna Love’,  a track released through Sony’s label Robots & Humans and received support from Charlie Tee on Radio 1 and Kiss FM, pulling in well over 1.4 million Spotify streams.

To celebrate the release, Antigoni will be performing her headline show at Camden Assembly alongside Trey Qua and Ashaine White on the 15th November. Expect another star studded party fuelled by Antigoni’s vivacious personality.
