East London R&B singer-songwriter, Indyanah, releases her second single ‘For Now’. Produced by music maestro Tendai.
’For Now’, is a sexy savage anthem, battling the contrasting themes of love and lust, whilst confronting the pressures of women having to be ‘the submissive one’ in modern day relationships. Indyanah hails the modern day female ‘savage’, ‘the femme fatale’ who exudes fearless energy, is dominant and knows exactly what she wants in life and in her relationships.
Written during the pandemic, mid-lockdown, the soulful soundscape was inspired by unapologetically ‘yearning for intimacy’ and living vicariously through flashbacks. Laced with hypnotic harmonies and bold melodies, she flexes her unwavering talent not only as an artist but also a skillful songwriter.
For Now’ marks Indyanah’s official return, 2 years on from her last solo release, ‘Energy’. It will be one of the leading singles of her DEBUT EP (Title TBA) that is set to be released in 2023’. ‘For Now’, the single is available on all digital streaming platforms now and is, accompanied by a visualiser that will go live on Indyanah’s YouTube channel on Sunday 13th November 2022.
Indyanah sat down with Wordplay Magazine to answer our infamous 10 Questions:
1. So tell me, how did it all begin? What sparked your love for music?
Well it all began when I started going to college really, I went to a school where I practically trained for my career and I fell in love with the process of it all and I just haven’t stopped really.
2. Who are some artists that influence you and that you want to work with in the future?
I would definitely say Brandy has influenced me massively and I would love to work with her one day.
3. What projects do you have coming up and can you give us any info on them?
I do have something special coming but you will need to stay tuned...
4. How would you describe your sound?
I would describe my sound as sultry, fresh and relatable.
5. What's your proudest moment to date so far as an artist?
I feel like it’s yet to come..
6. Do you have any advice for our readers who may be trying to play the mad game of music?
I would say stay grounded and have tunnel vision on your goal and don’t give up!
7. Are there any artists on your radar right now that we should check out?
Paulade & Tendai.
They are both 2 amazing RnB artists who are just giving me vibes and I’m here for what’s next to come for them both.

I love to catch up with my family and Friends and experience new things together.

Water, Crocs and Gum.
