Multi-faceted artist and producer Mac Wetha shares his new single “Don’t You Go Falling In Love” featuring hotly-tipped Irish singer Biig Piig and London rapper and underground favourite Lord Apex.

“Don’t You Go Falling In Love” is a blissfully romantic and intimate pop jaunt, Mac and Biig Piig’s vocals sweetly harmonise together over jazzy piano and languid guitar chords as they sing about returning to a past love, before being joined by Lord Apex’s effervescent verse. The lo-fi visual accompaniment sees Mac, Biig Piig and Lord Apex spending a day leisurely wandering around the London cityscape in high spirits, dancing and singing.

The latest single follows ‘Play Pretend’ which featured US multi-instrumentalist spill tab, showing Mac returning to his collaborative roots, which played a formative role in his musical career as resident producer in the NiNE8 Collective.

Mac says of the single: "‘Don’t You Go Falling In Love’ is a very special song for me, Jess (Biig Piig) is like a sister and I’ve been in awe of her talent and voice ever since we first met (at 16), and although we’ve worked loads over the years this song is the first time as Mac Wetha and Biig Piig we’ve written and sung together, and it’s a genuine honour to have done so. I can also say the same for Apex, although we met years and years ago, this is actually the first time we’ve linked up to make music, and again the pleasure is all mine. Two of the most talented and sweetest people you’ll ever meet. We wrote this on a sunny day with the doors wide open, the tune came together very quickly and organically and felt right from the jump. Enjoy ❤️".

The latest singles follow the release of Mac’s acclaimed “Cloud Paint” EP, a free-spirited collection of his formative pop punk and emo influences showcasing some of his most forward-facing and irrefutably energetic tracks, including the incendiary “Dani Song” and the pop-punk hued celebration of life “Feel Better (Infinite Pitbulls)”.
