Sidders - Paper Kisses (Official Video)

North London rising singer/songwriter, Sidders drops his fourth and final single of the year, ‘Paper Kisses’ produced by GOLDZBROUGH and co-written with Reuben James.

Directed by Liam W-T, the animated video was planned, shot, and turned around within 24 hours and sees Sid in Camden performing on rooftops under a scenic London sunset. ‘Paper Kisses’ recurring theme is centered around the dangers of remedying your problems with money and obsessing over materialistic things instead of what really matters in life.

“I wrote the track when there was a lot of pressure to stray away from the love of things. It’s a reminder that you can trust in yourself and not get lost in the noise of always chasing money”

Sidders harps on the diverse and eclectic music of his mother, an English teacher who raised him and brought the joy of penning words into his life. His journey through music started at the tender age of 8, writing lyrics with friends and performing at youth programs at the Brighton Dome & Roundhouse respectively. Since then, his uniquely cultivated sound of all things Hip-Hop & indie has gathered respectable foundations for support from DIY projects such as ‘About Time’, ‘Wisdom of my Youth’ & the current stream of releases.

With a refreshing energy and positive smile, his music and visuals pioneer an alternative to both popular music and rap which is a niche for sonically pleasing and happily mellow anthems.

From the turn of 2022, a year-long hiatus came to an end and led Sidders to sell out headline shows in his hometown, (The Fiddler, Camden Assembly, & Cafe KOKO), while performing throughout Europe & London with collaborators Bone Slim, Edbl, Mom Tudie & Danny Sanchez.

Spreading a message of positivity, the joy in his music is delivered by a soft yet striking vocal that leaves it impossible to not smile when listening. An anecdote we all need more of. Cosigns from COLORS, Clash and more back this precedent and is a taster of what's to come.
