Gracie Convert - Right Way (Single)

London based Singer and DJ Gracie Convert is releasing her first single of 2022 entitled ‘Right way’, Gracie’s voice effortlessly glides over this sultry instrumentation her post-love offering to us. A dark and sensual experimental R&B track, lyrically delving into the inner thoughts and emotional buildup that often come hand in hand when feeling under-appreciated in a relationship. The sombre nature of the chords and intricately spacious beat, combined with producer TAMBALA’s signature production style, lend themselves seamlessly to the topic at hand.

Speaking on the track, Gracie explains: ‘I think when things aren’t going smoothly, it’s natural to hope they’ll change and want to stick around, but how long for? There are only so many times you can let things slide before you start resenting that person. That’s the space I was in when writing this’

Having just been featured in Spotify’s end of year ‘Fresh Finds UK+IE Class of 2021’, ‘Jazz UK: Best of 2021’, Gracie continues to prove her versatility as a songwriter, swiftly switching from R&B to Jazz and back, whilst integrating elements of Pop and Neo-Soul throughout her releases. Her writing has earned her support from tastemakers such as Colors Studios, Notion, High Snobiety and Guap Mag as well as  consistent radio backing from the likes of  BBC Introducing, BBC6, Rinse FM and Reprezent. 

‘Right way’ is the first of a string of songs Gracie is due to put out, leading up to an EP later on in the year which will further showcase her versatile musical nature.
