London based two-piece ‘Dust In The Sunlight’ share a drop of lush escapism in the form of ‘Former Lives’. Glacial vocals transcend into orchestral strings and weighless synths, delivering a flawless antidote for any lingering winter blues.

Written as a response to society's insatiable pressures and expectations, Former Lives is here to help take the weight off. Sharing more, the band explain: “Former Lives is about the pressure and immediacy of modern life making you feel like you have to be a million things at once… but actually what you really need to do is let go of that ideology and find your own pace and sense of self. It’s very easy to forget where you’ve come from and everything you’ve been through to get to where you are now… I think the lyrics are about helping each other find that again.“

Taken from their sophomore EP, due for release later this year, Former Lives is the second single to be revealed from the new record.
