Preyé - Red Wine (Single)

Rising Nigerian singer-songwriter Preyé has unveiled new single ‘Red Wine’, out now, on Platoon.

Steeped in smooth, seductive energy, ‘Red Wine’ sees Preyé deliver blissful, pitch-perfect vocals amidst an effortlessly lush and downbeat production. The track was recorded during a trip to London, and produced by Nigerian multi-hyphenate Ikon. Her first release of the new year, it will feature on her forthcoming EP ‘DON’T LOOK DOWN’, a project set to be released in April.

"’Red Wine’ is all about owning the power that comes with unapologetically embracing and expressing my sensuality,” Preyé explains. “It’s not having an excuse to be the woman in me.”

Since her recording debut in 2015, Preyé has embodied the essentials of an R&B and soul star: resonant vocals, vivid lyrics and a persona that her audience can connect with when she is on screen. With a voice and presence worthy of the genres she so fluidly bends to her will, Preyé speaks through the noise. Most notably, her power lies in her ability to make listeners feel; drawing inspiration from experiences we can all relate to and transforming them into unforgettable bops. Her upbeat 2019 anthem ‘Love Fumes’ and magnetic follow-up ‘Peace of Mind’ provide a glimpse of an artist that has spent the last few years exploring and crafting her unique style – and now this star is ready to shine.
