Queen Millz - Body & Shape (Official Video)
East Midlands rap talent Queen Millz has dropped her new single ‘Body & Shape’, out now.
Underpinned by high-energy, upfront trap snares, ‘Body & Shape’ is an empowering modern rap track with vocals alluding to feeling comfortable in your own body. The accompanying official video draws inspiration from iconic street dancing films like Step Up and Stomp The Yard with a troupe of breakdancers doing their thing against a gritty urban backdrop.
“‘Body & Shape’ is a song to encourage body positivity and all around confidence within yourself,” Queen Millz explains. “Talking about how the mandem love me because I’m at the top of my game and I’m so comfortable being myself.”
She continues: “The video is a hard-hitting, grunge, old-school vibe. It's crazy how we can have a dingy location, then if we add lights, smoke and dancers, we watch the whole thing come to life. The video references ‘Stomp The Yard’ and ‘21 Seconds’ by So Solid.”
Her fourth single release in as many months, ‘Body & Shape’ comes after her incredible performance at event series Tempo + Flow, where well-respected DJ Semtex jumped on stage to introduce Queen Millz.
