Underground alternative Hip-hop artist Medley, secures his first release of 2022, as he delivers an eerie, calm yet intense lyrical assault on his single ‘GoldTalk’ available for streaming on all platforms now.

‘GoldTalk’ is a reflection of Medley’s inner workings & current feeling, having dealt with a personal incident which has left him living in a hotel for the past month, Medley himself said “I lost a lot in such a short time. there are so many things I realised I took for granted, and because of that, I don’t want to waste anything anymore, especially my time. I want to listen back to this track in a few years and be reminded of where I was, how I was feeling & how I came out of that… And this song was the start of that rebuilding process I guess.”

Produced by Medley himself, ‘GoldTalk’ was produced & recorded in the hotel Medley was staying in at the time, although the song itself is short, it does not lack character, sonically the song is entrapped within a dark atmosphere, accompanied by drums that nudge the listener into a state of alertness, followed by Medley’s flow, turning his voice into it’s own instrument, whilst the words he says paint a picture of a man who is striving to find his place in life, as well as the landscape of music.
