LOS ANGELES, CA – Rapper, singer-songwriter, director, and record producer tobi lou today embarks on his new endeavor with the release of an 11-track mixtape titled Non-Perishable via Artclub / EMPIRE. Non-Perishable is set to feature 11 music videos that will be released over the next few weeks as well as six cover artworks to represent tobi lou’s new musical worlds. Non-Perishable acts as the first installment in a 2022 trilogy of new musical and visual releases from tobi lou.

In Non-Perishable, tobi lou explores the things that withstand time, the bonds between us (good or bad) that last forever, love that never breaks, pain that never heals, and learning how to persist and exist when everything around you is gone. Non-Perishable combines music with striking visuals to create an immersive listening experience.

In addition to the mixtape, tobi lou will release fully produced self-directed video shorts to align with nearly every track on Non-Perishable. Each video will take place in a ‘white void’ with a different, unique set per visual. In this ‘white void’ video series, tobi is existing in a future time where there is not enough matter in the universe to make up all the physical things in our present world. Everything is white as far as the eye can see, until enough energy is created within a small space to activate the dead particles of matter within them.
