2. Who are some artists that influence you and that you want to work with in the future?
Currently the biggest influence on my writing is Hozier, I just think the way he writes is so beautiful - I would love to write with him one day. I also draw a lot of influence from old folk and rock music that my dad played growing up.
3. What projects do you have coming up and can you give us any info on them?
My ep just came out!! and i have a gig in london coming up on the 14th of april. I'm so excited, it’s my first ever live thing so it’ll be a special night.
4. How would you describe your sound?
I'd say it’s sort of introspective indie-pop. I always describe it as the soundtrack to my coming of age.
5. What's your proudest moment to date so far as an artist?
When I was little I made my youtube account called matilda cole vevo - so the day i got my real vevo account it really felt like a full circle moment. There’s been so many moments that have been incredible, it all feels like a dream.

Just put your stuff out there! So many people make incredible music but never let the world see it, so just by putting it out you’ve beaten the majority of the competition.

Yes!! Jensen Mcrae is one of the most incredible artists i’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to and she just put out her debut album, which is phenomenal.
8. What albums are on heavy rotation on your Spotify playlist currently?
Currently, I'm listening to The Belladona Of Sadness by Alexandra Savior. It's perfect.
9. What do you like to do when you're not making music?
I love to do photography and filmmaking. or just spend time with the people I love. That's really what inspires my music - so I have to make sure I factor that in! Just so I have something to write about.
10. Name Three things you can't live without when in the studio?
My camera to capture the amazing people I work with, plenty of water, and so so much reverb.
