French singer-songwriter Léonie Barbot shares her latest track ‘Summer’, independently released via all available platforms today.

The follow-up track to the breathtaking debut EP ‘COMMUNICATION’ - produced by the revered Darius and Jay Prince - ‘Summer’ steps things up a gear with Léonie’s effortless airy vocals truly shining alongside her own violin arrangements. With the producer AgaJon and cello player Malik Johnson by her side, this is the first time she has truly felt confident enough to show off every facet of her artistry on the intimate track. “Summer tells the story of a romance that’s slowly fading with the changing seasons, winter brings cold feelings and longing for the warmth of love and Summer again.”

Growing up in an artistic family, Léonie built the foundations of her craft at a very young age by picking up the violin, taking singing lessons and painting. Putting these skills to great use, the artist has grown considerably in a very fluid and organic fashion, independently releasing a couple of singles before her debut EP captured the attention of the media and tastemakers alike. Léonie continues on this upward trajectory with the sublime track ‘Summer’ navigating us into warmer climes.
